Erin McKeen is an artist and framer native to North Providence RI-

They received their BFA from the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in painting, and a minor in chemistry.

Her work features bold colors which are both frenetic and tightly interwoven. Paintings center on moments outside of the viewers grasp- a fleeting memory, a flash of light on the surface of water, or a sense of uncrossable distance. Otherwise serene moments painted with a busy hand and mind.

She works primarily in acrylic, gouache, and oil, on traditional canvas and rough pressed watercolor paper.
